CONTEMPLAY is a hand gesture–based guidance method for live, collective music-making.

Developed to enable spontaneous polyphonic singing without a score, the practice is intended for conductors, singers, improvisers, and music teachers open to new forms of musical interaction within their ensembles, classrooms, and with their audiences. By combining observation with immediate vocal response, participants transform group singing into a dynamic act of ad hoc polyphonic creation.

The photo / video tutorial of the guidance technique is coming soon.
